SRTF health response in Deir Ez-Zor receives consignment of medical items – Syrian Arab Republic

Deir Ez Zor – Wednesday, March 16, 2022- The SRTF health response “COVID-19 Emergency Response and Establishment of Secondary and Tertiary Care in Deir Ez Zor -Phase II” announced the receipt of a variety of medical equipment for use for medical purposes in Covid departments -19 and non-Covid -19 .

The delivery included 130 pieces of medical equipment, including electrocardiography (ECG), hemodialysis machines, mobile ultrasound machine, pulse oximeters, scales for adults and children, stethoscopes, wall-mounted oxygen flow meter, wall-mounted oxygen outlet, medical oxygen pressure regulator, infrared thermometer, mercury thermometer, sphygmomanometer, MUAC strips, stainless steel medical container for medical gauze with lid – height 50 cm, quattro anesthesia trolley, fixed UV sterilization lamps and protective aprons against X-rays.

The main objective of this intervention is to improve health services and fill additional health gaps in the region by providing access to advanced health services in pulmonology, hemodialysis and pediatrics that were not nearby. of the target audience.

It is estimated that approximately 7,200 beneficiaries will directly benefit from this intervention. In addition, the intervention will cover a population of approximately 630,000 people made up of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and members of the host community residing east of the Euphrates.
